She might be different but everyone is unique in their own way.

Emma uses social media to let the world know she’s not giving up on trying to be happy. I like this book because it shows you don’t need a big platform in order to make change. Eventually the students realize their way of thinking was wrong and make it up to Emma. The students have a prom without Emma because her situation is still not accepted. Even though the Broadway stars help, things still go awry. When four Broadway stars hear about Emma’s injustice, they take a trip to Indiana to help her out. Emma Nolan just wants to attend the prom with her girlfriend despite the homophobia of the entire town.
